Particularly secure court building at Vestre Prison
Vestre Prison needed a new so-called particularly secure court building, which will contain a courtroom, voting rooms, prosecution rooms, cells, etc. The prison used to have an older garage, which was no longer in use.
Therefore, Gamle Mursten Tech assisted in identifying how many bricks could potentially be reused from the garages, and how the demolition should be handled to ensure that as many bricks as possible were preserved and could be used in the new building.
This has resulted in all bricks from the old building being taken to Gamle Mursten where they were cleaned, palletised and stored until delivery to the building site.
The new part is now almost finished and stands beautifully between the old, historic buildings around the prison.
