GM Tech and Gamle Mursten ApS offers with our Urban Mining agreement – a circular solution for upcycling bricks and tiles in our building stock from before 1960. From sampling before demolition, testing and documentation of the bricks’ quality, to delivery of cleaned and CE-marked bricks, packed on pallets – ready for a new construction.
Bricks can be reused– that’s for sure. When a demolisher knocks down a brick wall made of lime mortar, the bricks can be reused. Bricks that meet the requirements for pressure, frost and water absorption can now also be CE marked and recycled in the next building.
